The Oom stool with casters and a hand-crafted solid wood coat rack, is a modernistic form that translates practical simplicity for traditional uses. The soft upholstered mobile stool serves as a sitting spot that can be easily moved from one location to another to allow user-defined interaction in a space. In addition, the stool showcases a hand-crafted maple coat-rack with a walnut inlay. The attention to detail and craftsmanship portrayed in the fine tailored upholstery and the unique coat rack design of the Oom stool, exemplifies the work of a young furniture master.
Expanding upon Brayton’s existing Masters collections by Hans J. Wegner and Finn Juhl, we are introducing our first design from a young master, Matthew Weatherly. His designs promote the fact that people should connect with their furniture on every level of sensitivity. The overall aesthetic, materials and construction unite to create a cohesive form.
