Jean Prouvé, 1950 Compas Table is a further example of Prouvé's brilliance as a designer. Around 1950 he came up with this table frame with its slim metal legs that are formally reminiscent of the two pointers of a compass, in French, "le compas". Materials: legs in profiled sheet steel with angled legs, connected to a tubular central crossbar, tabletop and edging in laminate. Tabletop cream-coloured, edges black.
